I just tested positive for Covid.
Neighbor retired army, nurse, came over and administer the test. Turns out of the 14 humans here, 6 tested positive this morning. We were so careful, So diligent. And today I feel like absolute shit. Slight fever. Slight cough. Bad body aches. Bad headache. Fully boosted, with 5th booster. So neighbor expects a mild case.
Nobody's fault. Shit happens. Push fluids. Rest. Dammit we were so fucking careful. Going into lockdown.
Covid update.
Not feeling any better, in fact a little worse. Fever slowly rising. Not sick neighbors just put two meals on my front porch. Of the six folks here that tested positive this morning. All are now in lockdown. None are doing badly. We all fell like a truck hit us. Then came back and hit us again. All of us are in pretty good health. So far no major complications.
Listen up. This does NOT mean stop masking. A well fitting respirator is now mandatory.
