@Shelter I bet. Environment Canada just released it's long range forecast for the winter. I mean, it's winter, but a third year of la nina plus a polar vortex should be just lovely. O yes.

@Camerondotca

We're expecting below average snowfall, but the last time we were in the third year of La Nina we ended up with a 22 inch snowfall in late January.
Which is a lot for here and grinds everything to a stop.

@Shelter yeah. Montreal is set up for this. We spend in excess of $120million CAD on snow removal (in just the city proper) so 22 inches would be a lot, but it would be removed by the end of the week.

@Camerondotca

That year we still had melting snow piles in parking lots in early May.

@Shelter I just want winter to arrive, to be relatively dry and to hover between -10 and -30. I do not, however, want something like: snow snow sudden temp drop, rain, freezing rain, HEY IT'S 7C! sudden temp drop!

@Camerondotca

I can deal with just about anything except ice storms.

@Shelter Ice storms are bad. I am against ice storms. Anytime there is a big ice warning I gt '98 flashbacks. We only lost power for a day but it was not ideal.

@Camerondotca
My car got crushed by an oak limb the size of a younger tree.

@MilaPhoenix

I'm not sure. The ground is still saturated from the other day.
