Raising my hand here.
My eyes have severe problems trying to process text in Dark Mode.
Is there any way to embrace my elderly eyeballs and still read toots here?
Dark Mode causes actual headache.
If anyone can help, that would be great.

I believe it’s on the request list.
That said, there are browser extensions that can resolve.
