@LnzyHou @Bix Gandhi said the whole problem with Christianity is Christians. <paraphrase>
He was talking about preaching one thing and acting another, specifically the racism he faced as a young man exploring the religion. But today the problem is a majority follow corrupt leaders too willingly. There is a minority of mainline Christians in dissent, but it has been a revealing few years.
Hidden rot has been revealed, in the religion and the country as a whole.
@Alfred Who is the worst U.S. President in history?
@Alfred What historical world leader killed the most people personally? (as opposed to indirectly causing deaths)
@Alfred What world leader was responsible for the most deaths throughout history?
@CanisVeritum Baffled when I see someone on IG spreading nonsense and the profile is for a business or realtor.
Do you not have common sense to keep that for a private account? Non-starter for me, automatic block.
@peninsulaJane Well played.

A public cervix announcement.
This is one I didn't see coming. Jeff Ross is not the hero we wanted, but may be the hero we needed.

@carmen Lamest one I saw was one from Georgia. "I secured my vote. "
Lame because it perpetuates the idea vote "security" was a big problem to solve and not a ploy to justify new forms of voter suppression.

Can this be right? Tell me it isn't, please.
80% of Democrats only vote for President and nothing else? (I can't verify or debunk it using Google.)
If true, people need Civics to learn a President with a hostile Congress is hamstring.
@AskTheDevil @Tacitus_Kilgore @LnzyHou I am on board. What's your plan? How do we get there? Would there be a law?
It isn't just " That's how it had always been." It is more pragmatic of gaming it out. People have rights to assemble with common cause. Do we take it away?
The perfect is the enemy of the good. We can achieve a more representative model of our population.
@WeThePeople No.
We don't owe Pubs with integrity positions at the top.
Harris would lose support of every progressive with such a move.
People have short memory. Look at her voting record. She voted with Trump positions every time on policy.
@Faustus Was thinking about the sizes seeing 80+ inch TVs on display, and remembering being in a dorm lounge filled with people sharing a 19 inch set overhead.
How we watched sports on those tiny sets I don't know.
@sfleetucker @cassandra17lina I think it should be zero dollars over what was paid in tax for corporations. And eliminate the PAC workaround while we are at it. Anything donated to a PAC counts.
@Copacetic_vibe Same as 2020, unplugging amd going to a Getaway (brand) with no internet or TV access for a couple of days.
We can't handle the stress of watching returns played like a horse race. Better or worse, we will wait until it's over.
@XaoslordErie TBF, it is Chuck Edward's state that actually got hit and the stupid originated with him.
Honestly, shouldn't he be working to help the people he represents by denouncing the misinformation Trump has been spreading on FEMA? Or at least get Trump to correct it given the harm to his own state?
Trump hears no tones, ever. But a Congressional representative should be capable of doing the bare minimum for his people. But sucking up to Dear Leader is top priority.
@AskTheDevil @Tacitus_Kilgore @LnzyHou Zero political parties is a fantasy unfortunately. People are going to collect with common interests for bargaining power naturally. You can't outlaw them.
Many parties is as close as anyone has ever come, around different issues. Then the parties negotiate to form a governing coalition. Even that would require our electoral process to change.
We COULD outlaw party primaries maybe? Let everyone vote on all options with RCV.
@QueenOfEverything To be covered you have to prove CPAP doesn't work for you. My guess is a sleep doctor would need to agree?
You can use CPAP as a side sleeper though. Just get a pillow with a cutout for mask. And it helps to elevate the hose with a stand and use a mask connecting on top of your head.
Inspire also complicates getting MRI in the future.
My doctor implied I couldn’t qualify for coverage given my "numbers look good" with CPAP. Would need to cover it out of pocket.
@dauphin87 We also shouldn't still be working the 40 hour work week by now. Gains in productivity since it was instituted in 1938 have been ignored, all going to owners.
