"Line up behind Biden for POTUS and he'll train the next generation to take over in 4 years"
which then turned into
Biden: "I am the only one to defeat Trump"
which is
a) true but,
b) nonsense in this environment because incumbent Biden is not challenger Biden AND Biden is massively less popular among non-Dems who are pivotal, but,
c) most importantly, Trump is a stronger candidate as a challenger than an incumbent

I can only imagine how exhausting this must be for so many US folks who've gone through generation after generation of active political struggle, on the home front and in service, only to have things get this bad.
I really hope there is a sound, swift, and decisive house-cleaning in your political ranks on and after November 5, of everyone actively trying to destroy your systems.
