Light Mode!!
On a WIN 10 PC, I've found two solutions via extensions for the Dark Mode for those of us with issues.

Chrome, find “Decreased Productivity”, dig into the options.
Change image opacity, the default is set so low as to effectively hide images, that's no fun. Crank that to the max.
Plenty of color choices, set specific domains or globally.
Weird, it hides my banner. ??

Firefox, find Toggle Website Colors, though it's got far fewer options, works a treat.

Begging please for a light mode.

Dark Mode causes me eye discomfort, lingering after images and, if continued long enough, headaches.

I'd really like a nice, plain, black text on a white background,, like in books, every book ever.

Under “Things that keep me up at night” I just realized that wheels are just levers that have eaten their tails.

I clicked something, lost the compose window, had to refresh the page to get it back. There must be some other way.

Did I hashtag right?

@DrStevenHobbs
Can't get rid of Dark Mode here, even with a Chrome browser extension.
500 character limit is nice.
