@Ravennacht Hell yeah, do you know how to double clutch in case you're in a car without synchromesh like my dad's 1936?
@Ravennacht it's on my bucket list, but the bucket is getting closer & i'm not there yet. the problem is not having a standard vehicle long enough to practice on. i get the concept & the process & i can sense when it's time to shift up or down, but it'a like knowing dance steps, but not being able to dance.
@Ravennacht Manual is pretty much standard here in UK - very few driving instructors with automatic cars. I switched to automatic two years ago for my 5th car; won't be going back to manual.

@Ravennacht Yup! Learned before I even had a license! Took my BFs car and drove it up and down a gravel road to learn, cause he wanted me to know how to drive a stick.
