Maybe I am just being a pessimist, but i see the fact that now Biden keeps coming up with classified documents in his possession from the past as a means that Trump is just going to end up skating on what he did also. Like it will just all be brushed under the carpet because they are both being incompetent asses that don't know how to take responsibility for a damn thing. So sick of the rules being different for those in power.
Kevin McCarthy now says that Expunging Trump's impeachments is now on the table. Talk about revisionist history. With these insurrectionist supporters leading the House, everything is getting turned on its head again.
Today is the anniversary of the Insurrection. Two years hence and we are still waiting for those that threw our Country into turmoil to be brought to Justice. Deniers offer excuses to cloud reality, while the rest of the GOP don't even acknowledge that it even happened. We are doomed to continue to make the same mistake when we don't learn from the past.

How can any representative so blindly follow a "leader" that basically is willing to concede ANYTHING in order to just obtain the title of Speaker. A person that has already proven in the past that he is unwilling/unable to lead in the face of disaster. The same man, that during the 1/6 Insurrection, initially called for Trump to do something and that a price had to be paid... only to, after a trip to Mar Lago, suddenly become a supporter of the Big Lie. Can we point out the hypocrisy of Republican pundits, editorialists and politicians decrying that 10 percent of their Caucus can't hold the majority decision hostage in electing Kevin McCarthy Speaker. That they should respect the rule of law and the will of the majority.
This is the same party that has challenged the last Presidential election, ignoring the majority of the US voters electing Joe Biden as President.
It is only an issue for them, when its not in their favor.
Never forget, that on this eve of the anniversary of the January 6 Insurrection, we have the GOP, broken by infighting, trying to establish dominance in the Congress. These 20 'rebels' are the extreme radical insurrectionists that still deny the election of Joe Biden as President. You know who else denied the election results? Kevin McCarthy. Matt Gaetz voted for Trump for Speaker today. This isn't about a normal GOP vs radicals. They are ALL radically supporting a denier in some way.
I found myself hoping someone would throw a shoe at Gaetz or Boebert. Just once. Is that horrible of me. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Kevin McCarthy, I find him to be nothing better than a shoe licking toady... but the 'Freedom Caucus' crones give me the skeevies.
It amuses me watching a bunch of GOP voters braying about how the Democrats need to make a compromise and end the McCarthy stalemate. For the good of Country and getting things done... Sorry... I narfed at that last part. Yeah. that.
