It’s been a long while since I was here last. What’s been occurring?

So it’s looking more and more likely that #Twitter is going to sink. I feel sad about it. It’s been a constant in my life for 10 years and I’ve met some amazing people. I really hope #CoSo can fill the void. A lot of people seem to be migrating to Mastodon but I can’t get my head around it at all 😫

It’s Friday and on a scale of dead slow to stop how fast is the day going to go?? I just want to sack off work, go back to bed and play #PokemonViolet all day 😂

@Preseaa yeah. Honestly it doesn’t feel like a good place to be which is a shame. A lot of us are trying to carry on like before but it just doesn’t feel great. I wish CoSo felt more user friendly in terms of their app, that’s the only thing stopping a permanent migration for me.

@Preseaa according to Twitter sources Musk has closed the offices until the 21st with no access for employees after demanding those employees that remained after his mass sacking sign new contracts with longer hours. There’s no official notice of closure, just speculation at this point but with no crew manning the ship can it stay afloat?

I wish this app was a bit smoother to use and not so temperamental. Sometimes it takes an age to get something to post.

Another quiet day here at work and I’m not complaining because if it’s quiet then the radgy that is my manager isn’t inducing a limitless and boundless surge of anxiety in me.

@LorrLovesBooks you’re doing alright actually 😂 Janeway was my favourite then along came Pike and now she has competition. I started my Trek journey with Voyager though so it will always be the best one in my eyes. O’Brien and Bashir were the best bromance ever, I adored them. Coombs is pure gold, love him. I loved the Enterprise theme but I don’t think it suited it at all. I love new Trek too, have you watched Discovery or Strange New Worlds? 😊
