Where is everyone getting the news that Twitter will be out today?
@Preseaa according to Twitter sources Musk has closed the offices until the 21st with no access for employees after demanding those employees that remained after his mass sacking sign new contracts with longer hours. There’s no official notice of closure, just speculation at this point but with no crew manning the ship can it stay afloat?
@Preseaa yeah. Honestly it doesn’t feel like a good place to be which is a shame. A lot of us are trying to carry on like before but it just doesn’t feel great. I wish CoSo felt more user friendly in terms of their app, that’s the only thing stopping a permanent migration for me.
@Ravenlock Agree on some of the non-user friendly features here. I've managed to resurrect my previous socials that are still alive, but I feel like I'm still floating at sea after jumping off the Twitter ship.
@Ravenlock Thanks for the context. I have seen that headline (just the headline tho). There's so much sh*t going on Twitter on a daily basis (with each day outdoing the previous ones), it's hard to keep track. 😅
