The Whelan family is NOT falling for #TFG's self-promoting lies. (The *I* could have gotten him out just by asking! line suggests Trump doesn't even remember that Whelan was a hostage for 2 years of his "presidency.")

Frustrated that their gleeful "Ds lose new majority!" headlines were thwarted (Sinema isn't leaving the D caucus), the media falls back on its real top priority - DRAMA!!!
Gee, Smith is pushing in a *more* aggressive direction... just as everyone who knows him predicted.
Apart from being a "you still need to pay attention to me even thought it's not 50-50!" howl, Sinema's dumb move doesn't really change anything for now.
2024 is more complicated. Does she intend to run as an independent? Does she hope to force Ds not to run someone against her while avoiding a primary challenge? Does she not plan to run at all and thinks this raises her nuisance cred for a media job?
She herself may not know, yet.
So according to CNN, #TFG won't appeal the 11th Circuit decision voiding the special master to SCOTUS.
He went on several recent rants about how SCOTUS always conspires against him anyway.

Gen Hertling, for whom I have considerable respect, had a more negative view of Walker's concession speech than many did.
Of course "his best speech" is a VERY low bar anyway.
Though I don't agree that our Senate candidates were poor (although Ds should have nominated a centrist in WI, in which case Ron Johnson would almost certainly have lost), and of course inflation is not Biden's doing, it's nonetheless interesting to see this from a Republican.
In a move that should surprise no one, Gosar endorses overthrowing the Constitution to reinstall Trump. (And then deleted it. Too late.)
Incredible that the documents scandal can get worse for #TFG, but it looks like it just did.
