It never seems to occur to them that the prosecutors are ready for their antics.

One question yesterday was who else died on Prigozhin's plane.

So far, the answer appears to be "a bunch of thugs" (with the *possible* exception of the flight crew).

Wagner co-founder and neo-Nazi Utkin was on board, as was Wagner's chief financier. The rest of the passengers seem to have been Prigozhin's Wagner bodyguard.

The only people whose Wagner status isn't clear seem to be the 3 flight crew. They may or may not have been loyalists.

@FoxFire Whether they're playing him up as winner or loser, they love him as a story. It's common for him to have 10 mentions on a major news site while the actual president has none.

But when it's all about clicks and drama, not actually informing people, that's predictable.

@FoxFire The media is locked into the assumption that the R party will always be half the vote, no matter how insane it becomes, and that therefore anyone they nominate has, at worst, a 50-50 chance of winning and always will.

It doesn't actually work that way.

It's highly plausible that Putin sees Wagner concentrations as a threat, not an asset, right now.

Which means the biggest winner is Biden. Not that the media would ever frame it that way.

So under fire for having protected the violent bigot who just murdered a store owner for displaying a pride flag, Elon has moved to the next logical step and is claiming he's the victim of a Soros conspiracy.

The conspiracy is, he says, to make twitter look like a cesspool of hate when it's actually better than ever.

He proves this by promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories. Because an owner like that would never allow hate speech, right?

@LiberalLibrarian He's been trying to "negotiate" out of it (because his campaign wants the fake mugshot they made for his fundraising emails to be the only one - no real ones). But the others have all had to do it, so it would be difficult to justify not making him do it.

Meanwhile, I did make pan-fried whiting to fill out the cold pizza.
