@th3j35t3r @BreakingNews Has the need for security clearances totally gone out the window or what?

@StuDavies Depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for friendly, thoughtful, intelligent exchanges, you’re in the right place.

@th3j35t3r WTF? That’s got to be a bridge too far. If that’s not outright treason, what is?

@Charles_Hawtrey I lose my respect for journalists and pundits who blame Democrats for losing instead of blaming Trump and the sycophantic GOP for lying, cheating, bribery and extorting American voters in order to win. Most Trump supporters IMO are poorly educated, uninformed or both and often too busy to spend the time learning more about the candidates and parties. None of that is the fault of the Democrats.

@gshevlin Someone should remind him that he needs to finish building his promised wall at Mexico’s expense first.

@Beanc @BillyBones @QueenOfEverything @Tarnagh Any hackers on here who might want to comment? Don’t forget that such cheating would be taking place at state levels with no federal oversight.

@BillyBones @Beanc @QueenOfEverything @Tarnagh Not to mention that for years the GOP have demonstrated they’re not above cheating any way they can e.g. voter roll purges, gerrymandering, polling place intimidation, etc.

This from Glenn Kirschner could make you feel better about how there are ways to put the brakes on the 2025 administration.

“State governors and attorneys general have been coming together and pledging to protect the citizens of their respective states in the event the future Trump administration engages in abuses, overreach or lawlessness.

This video discusses how we need to look for the points of light that will pierce the coming darkness.”

@Keep_Real I can’t help but wonder if there is a lot being done behind the scenes. It would make sense that no one in authority is talking about it publicly before they have all the evidence locked down.

“They’re losing their wives … “ MAGAts feeling the fallout from their ignorant support of an immoral, cruel, and stupid presidential candidate.

@ToruOkada I agree. “Malignant oligarchs” is a good descriptor. Wealth hoarding is a pathology, and like a cancer, they will eventually kill the middle class that has fueled their growth. Interesting article.😳🙁

@JGSchaeffer What an awesome view from your deck! Thanks for posting.

@corlin The root cause is there are too many humans on the planet. The species has grown like a cancer and overwhelmed its host.

@MakerWerks Is it because money brings power and power corrupts? Does it corrupt the weak characters and make them think they are strong? The strong can become rich but can remain uncorrupted and kind. IMO kindness is the most important virtue.

Good night.

Good to hear Laurence Tribe’s take on America’s ability to stymie Trump’s attempts to increase presidential power. The guardrails are not gone.

@SaltyVeruca I saw something about Pennsylvania. Can’t remember where, but seems there was a recount request.

Thoughts / observations + 3 days after election:

SCORPION AND THE FROG PHASE

We are being lulled into a liminal state of resignation and false hope based on knowing what an incompetent, egomaniacal piece of shit Trump is…

I can feel myself doing it too, thinking “He’s 78, he just wanted to win and he’ll spend the rest of his days golfing.” or “Surely he’ll want his legacy to be remembered well and have SOME real, good governance to show”

Let’s brush up on this story
