Saying "Work smarter" when they actually mean "read my mind and anticipate what my complaints about your work will be."
Another immediate boss prioritizes recreating training courses that has the company's own "brand" to the point of recreating or "replicating" already existing and easily accessible learning materials.
I can compare this to spoon-feeding with a company trademarked spoon instead of teaching them how to fish, to mix metaphors.
This is especially since he wants me to come up with SPECIFIC examples of teamwork as shown by different team members which are UNIQUE. So he believes teamwork cannot be demonstrated in a uniform way by one team.
I guess maybe he's such a stranger to the concept, not having worked well with a team, he wouldn't know teamwork if it bit him in the face.
Some members of my department demonstrated the epitome of teamwork having each other's back on shift a lot of the time so I want to give them high ratings under Teamwork in the performance evaluation, but my power tripping boss sent the evaluations back for having the SAME writeup for the SAME justification of teamwork, saying the critical incidents have to be INDIVIDUAL, which goes against the definition of teamwork.
