People learn by being enlightened &/or corrected.

Its how they handle their misunderstanding that is the measure of their character.

I learnt a lot about CS (& its creator) from being corrected on Twitter & am glad was open minded enough to see the light.

OK, was a lot of twitter admin that night, fair play, but it was noticible that there was NO dis-respectful tone in the tweets.

Just as I was told it would be, have found CS to be very welcoming & would totally recommend.

Sometimes you do need to just look after your own once you done whats reasonable to expect.

Just maybe each year send a card with a loose non specific offer they can take you up on should they choose.

Then, you did what you can and whilst regretable, no guilt.

Maybe just buy the child a onsie thats blue ... about the size they will be in 2028 or 2032.

Problem should be fixed by then and they will have the antidote.

Or, humour always works ... find one thats half red, half blue (maybe white stripe down the middle & surrender your differences)

Dont give regret a chance, even if it means just not discussing or ignoring the elephant in the room, as getting it wrong can haunt you for years to come.

As a now murdered British MP once said in her maiden speech, we have far more that unites us, than divides.

My brother shipped out this week over 20 yrs ago ... I never called him before he left because of a stupid difference of opinion ... and I never got the chance to again.

Christmas is a time for being reunited ... maybe ...

So sad and having lost a brother as part of UN Peacekeeping over 20 years ago next week in similar circumstances, I can only say what I thought then.

CHRISTMAS IS A TIME FOR GIVING, AND FOR THEM, THEY GAVE THEIR LIFE.

#Shop local and save any small business ... most got totally shafted during Covid & lockdowns with probably little Gov support or help, when other normal taxpayers got assistance.

UK suicide ratio because of it is more than 1 in 1000 people (over last 3 years).

Society needs to be more inclusive about most things, & less Me Me Me or Mine Mine Mine.

Share the wealth, not hoard it like a penny pinching miser, especially if folk can afford to.

Insulin is big pharma at its worst.

Costs almost nothing to make, like $1 or so, patent has long since had its payback but they sell it for £100's a vile.

It like a tax on life itself.

Totally wrong, unethical.

You may find big pharma had it drowned out with click bait news to hide it in plain sight, so nobody knew & it couldnt become law.

All our Discord servers are set up with laberyinth of hidden rooms, allocated on trust score basis, & value of intel received.

We also have a no lurker policy, so recently ejected fair number of users ... but did it as a fake server closing down to avoid suspicion & confrontation as to "why was I booted".

So we put a note to say closing server, week later, titanic sinking gifs then booted them out with server closing down message to be subtle but achieve.

Afraid for us, were still just surviving, rather than survived (pas tense).

But the Discord, plus the twitter community, we have been in deep dive mode tracking undesirables, their accounts, which ALT is which MAIN profile etc.

We also are aware of behaviour of covert hostiles, from within the network & the % trust to be allocated to each user, so have become a sort of resource for many as we know the behavour patterns "in the market".

Same with us, was amicable ... we were adults that just realised it was not going to work, so did the decent thing before we had children or complications.

Reasons we filed on were geographical abaondonment & financial impropriatary, so nothing jucy but for a quick divorce, you have to put a fault down or wait 2 years separated for a no fault divorce (back then).

Changed now, you can do quickie non-faults which will save on emotions dragging it out.

In my sense of humour, thats why I say they call the 1st wedding anniversary paper.

In the UK, you are not permitted to seek divorce within 1 year.

My divorce papers accidently got served on the 3rd wedding anniversary because of a delay at the courts.

Our Discord server is used for domestic abuse survivors to have a safe place, where we can keep the predators away.

We also burn rooms regularly & replace, but keep them in a limited access burn bag just in case need to refer back for any reason.

Also with breakout places, limited access & hidden rooms depending on user profile risk to level of access granted.

We have other servers for intelegence gathering on trolls & the like, for community safety.

We have a small community Discord board we use, that we set up for like minded folk from Twitter, but its a closed network and not comparable.

I was very politically active (towards MP's & GTTO) on Twitter ... like 10 hours day every day.

I am one of the 3.8m taxpayers EXCLUDED, abandoned by our Gov.

I've taken to the sanctury that Counter Social provides, and am behaving myself till I get the lie of the land.

But dont think its the sort of place the digital protests occur, more discussion based & hashtags are subject based rather than specific aspect based.
