Same with us, was amicable ... we were adults that just realised it was not going to work, so did the decent thing before we had children or complications.

Reasons we filed on were geographical abaondonment & financial impropriatary, so nothing jucy but for a quick divorce, you have to put a fault down or wait 2 years separated for a no fault divorce (back then).

Changed now, you can do quickie non-faults which will save on emotions dragging it out.
