So my new dentist's office has called me every day since the root canal to see how i'm doing. When I told them today that it's still really painful to chew or to completely close my mouth because it seems that a cusp on that tooth rubs on the back side of the tooth above it and that puts pressure on the injured tooth, they had the doctor talk to me on the phone ad he had me come in right away so he could grind that cusp down. That worked well enough that I could eat some solids. Good job!

For the past couple of days I've subsisted on liquids (a good portion of which was of course #coffee) Naproxen, and Extra Strength Tylenol, as a result of the root canal I had on Tuesday. Today I get the permanent filling put in and I really hope it does not trigger the pain again as before it was nearly unbearable.

I only stay thee to fight for Canada against the MapleMAGA and for jokes, cartoons. I've blocked thousands and muted more so my feed is pretty clean. And my posts are set to only those I follow can reply so the assholes and trolls can't.

I've come to the conclusion that most people seem to be willing to sacrifice their privacy/personal data if it makes them feel connected to the crowd. The millions that have left Twitter to go to Bluesky have gone from one collection agency selling heir data to another one, one that's albeit only slightly less so.

People I follow on the bird keep asking me to transfer over and when I tell them no I'm over here where privacy is the default, show them the comparison graphic, they still go.
