Was shopping in major grocery yesterday. The amount of unbridled coughing, sneezing, hacking was horrible.
Wished I had worn a mask too.

It's so hard to be the only one! Even one mask pal makes it easier. When I'm in Toronto, I always wear one on the subway, and I'm never the only one in the car. Actually, I'm noticing a few folks in my rural area starting to wear them again in the grocery store, which of course means people are getting sick. 😔
@LiseL I was getting more lax at the market and what not but always when I travel. I heard it was getting bad so I just decided to wear one all the time again when out and about.
Oh, I'd wear a hazmat suit when travelling if I thought I could get away with it! 😂

@NiveusLepus DD had a cough before leaving last week & said she would be masking at the airport. Not sure what she decided about a 15-hour flight!
@wolfwoman it’s a good idea. You never know when the bugs got a signal lock on you.
@NiveusLepus And in this case, she believed she wasn't contagious (negative for covid) but didn't want to risk infecting others. 💙
Last week I went to an art exhibit that turned out to be very crowded and forgot that I was maskless until 10 or 15 minutes in. Then back to the car to mask up. I was one of maybe 3 or 4 at most. But it's been 9 days with no symptoms. (knock on wood)

there's still a few sane mask wearers around, but they're scarce.
so far, no one is making ugly comments, or even really noticing, so that's good.
@holon42 yeah. I haven’t ever been challenged for wearing a mask. That would be novel.
I could just smile and say “you don’t know what I’ve been exposed to” then cough.
