actually, rabbits are not totally vegan. in 🇨🇦, they are sometimes seen eating carrion in winter. survival invokes their rodent selves when greenery is gone.
@holon42 rabbits are not rodents but lagomorphs. You are correct in a survival situation they will eat carrion but this has been observed only when starving. The meat is so hard on the digestive system it can shorten life span.

there's always sunflower seed and peanuts in my garden for them, so no need to eat the dead🙏🏻

How can we feed bunnies without squirrels getting to it first? I'm not against squirrels (just ask my friend Myrtle), but I would prefer if they shared nicely.
