@NiveusLepus Becca, I've seen you use that twice today. What does it mean besides "that sucks?"

@Lindy It's my home brew expletive, taken from a Monty Python Comedy record, and later the name of a band in the 90s.

It's a great catch all and way to exclaim without swearing.

I am a great fan of nonstandard phrasing and archaic slang. Language is fun, and I prefer to use it like a go kart, to zip about and be a bit wild. ^_^

@Lindy Bang up the Elephant was a victorian slang term that meant "perfect"

I think if we can bring it back it would truly bang up the elephant.

@NiveusLepus Did you ever hear the story about the word "Fad"and Lord Byron?

@Lindy Absolutely anything you want it to mean. Eleanor and I made it up a few years ago! 🤣 @NiveusLepus

@Lindy This seems to be a thing they do as a matter of course.

@NiveusLepus I know. And I was just trying to imagine just how much I didn't care.

@Lindy This artists depiction of a black hole to me should express how little you care. It's a singularity of non caring, a void by which no other cares can escape. An unfathomable void.

@NiveusLepus I suppose I should have said, "Bang up the Elephant! Well Said!"

@CanisPundit @Lindy Wow this is a psychedelic throwback, that overamped reverb is on point!

It's a lot cleaner of a beat, but this immediately came to mind listening.
