My buddy here likes to tease me.
“You know I have dishes, and a dishwasher. You don’t have to use your dog bowl to eat all your meals out of.”
Me: “It’s not a dog bowl, it’s my bowl, and I like my bowl, plus the lid is a plate. Don’t hate! It’s made out of silicone and I can even bake in it!”
“It looks like a dog bowl”
Me: >:(
@Lindy Good morning lovely Lindy! It’s all fun and games. I know I am teased for my ascetic habits out of love, but yeah, I have my favorites. I find such joy in simplicity, and familiarity. I’ve always got that bowl, in travels with me. I use my spork for each meal, the same one I carried 2k miles on the PCT and used everyday.
I’ve got my sleeping mat that rolls up and goes with me when I travel.
Home is always with me, and it lessens my impact wherever I end up.
@holon42 It brings me a lot of joy. Embracing my proclivity towards asceticism and eccentricity has done nothing but make my life better.
if it's working, don't fix it🤗
i also embrace eccentricity and whatever weird but harmless fun i enjoy.
go for it, people🙏🏻
@NiveusLepus
that's a wise practice.
