This is for those who have watched the Pixar short "Bao". For those that haven't, it's a beautiful story of imagery where a mother raises a child, but it's framed as her raising a bao (steamed dumpling) like a child. It's very well done and moving as the child eventually moves out. While struggling with him, she eats him so he can't get away. My brain, fucked as it is, translated that today as "I should've swallowed you a long time ago."
