Hi Coso. Can anyone direct or guide me on what could be wrong with my laptop? Prior to leaving for work, I notice these "bubbles" at the top of the screen, now the mouse won't work and so I changed the battery in my mouse.. nope.. I rebooted it.. and it's worse now.. do I need to take it into the shop? It is about 2 yrs old...

@JGNWYRK Well that's what they look like, but they don't move.. circles maybe?

@MrsE0113 assuming you restarted the computer (if not try that first by shutting it off) if the normal method does not work you can hold the power button for 5 seconds and it will "hard reset" for you.

@MrsE0113 Try unplugging it, remove the battery if you can, let it sit for 20 seconds at least before putting the battery back. If it's the OS that's boogered up this might help. Snap photo of your bubbles, before and after...

@chakaal I will try that when I get home .. currently at the office. Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

@MrsE0113 can you take a picture of these bubbles? If it's on the LCD itself, could be a crack. I've seen 9 million of those. If it looks like an ink splotch that's probably what's up.

But if it's like 3d bubbles... or something else ... probably not.

@evistre @JGNWYRK @chakaal I did a total shut down and waited 20 minutes..

don't want to jinx anything, but so far so good.

Thank you all so very much!!

@MrsE0113 @evistre @chakaal its a good practice to shut down periodically. Some updates require that to fully execute.
