What a disgusting thing to say about one's own spouse. But then, my ex husband used to say similar things about me (about religious background, not race nor skin color) and I'm sorry to say he treated me abjectly as he saw me. That's why I divorced him. I don't know how long she'll stay, my guess is she'll wait for the kids to be old enough. That's what I did. Mothers are powerless when the kids are young and vulnerable. So we stay and take a lot of shit before we finally go

Quite literally a moment he could have said ANYTHING against racism. But instead he chose to say it's perfectly okay because his wife is in fact not white.
