Kiddo has a fervent kindergarten admirer, Logan. The feeling is mutual. And then Brendan had to come along and embarrass them both in front of the whole class, apparently. Dang, dude. Jealous much?

I love how much she tells me every little thing. I know that won’t last forever.

I tried to tell my kiddo we’re all made of stardust today after watching Disney’s Wish. She didn’t buy it. 😳 Thought I was tricking her.

If cotton candy grapes were used to make wine, I would have a drinking problem.

Until then, I simply have a cotton candy grapes problem.

Judge sides with conservative group in its push to access, publish voter rolls online

And I'm sure this won't turn out badly at all. Nobody will be threatened or intimidated or bullied for how they vote, especially if they don't vote conservative. After all, Republicans never pull that kind of stupid shit.

The idea that government should turn a profit is idiotic. A conservative fairy-tale, told to stupid people.

Next time I will probably try 1/3 c. Kernels and 1/2 tsp oil. That way I won’t need to soil a mixing bowl to toss in my seasonings. Can just do it all in the bag.

Did this recipe today, because microwave popcorn bags are terrible for people and planet, but I had an inkling I should cut back some on the quantities of ingredients. I did 1/2 cup popcorn kernels and about 3/4 tsp of olive oil. It was still too much for the stand up mid bag. I had to stop the microwave because the bag was threatening to overflow with so many unpopped kernels in the bottom.

A couple of weeks ago, I got a suspicious email informing me that I owed a medical lab $285 with nothing whatsoever to back up that claim. I ignored it.

Today I received a written claim from them, saying that Medicare had disapproved a series of tests as "normal procedures as part of an exam". They weren't.

Now I'm involved in a round-robin claim dispute between the medical lab, my doctor, his hospital, Medicare, and my supplemental medical insurance company.

Kill me now.

It's past time for our society to value everyone and their contribution

What could be accomplished of we tore down huge conglomerates for things like food and created regional farming and meat and other food processing centers?

What would happen if the 0.1% didn't own everything?

This all needs too change.

I don't think I'll ever see it... But even an old curmudgeon like me had to hope for the future of my and our children. All of them

No more multi-generational Robin Leach espoused wealth

Started reading Red Rising the other night... Only 5% into the first book..
But it's already angered me too the point of needed too tell others to read it.

Get angry at the rich and their paid off minions sooner rather than later...

This system. Here. Everywhere. Needs to change.

That southern border? Tear down the wall. Build immigration centers.
Stop the fighting to hold onto whatever MAGAts believe is their birthright.

We can only grow and prosper by helping others be part of what's here

This week, California State Assemblyman Matt Haney introduced AB 2751, a “right to disconnect” proposition. If passed, it would make every California employer lay out exactly what a person’s hours are and ensure they aren’t required to respond to work-related communications while off the clock. Time periods in which a salaried employee might have to work longer hours would need to be laid out in their contract.

Going for the first round of IUI today. 🤞🏻if you have a good vibe to send my way, I won’t refuse it. It’s been a rough couple of years and each cycle my hopes are sky high…

This is a scathing & (unfortunately) brave column by the editor of cleveland.com & The Plain Dealer. Although it was written a few days ago, I'm just catching up to it now & sharing for those who missed it. Please read if you need to be reminded of the sanity in the world.

"There aren’t two sides to facts. People who say the earth is flat don’t get space on our platforms. If that offends them, so be it." 👏👏👏

Well, I am experiencing the ugly side of fertility treatments. 🥺 I’ve been monstrous today. I know it’s the shot of hormones and hormone pills doing their thing, but — sweet mother of mercy— I feel like my ovaries are hosting a fireworks display.

I am on the warpath with my health insurance provider and trying really hard not to take it out on my doctor when I meet with him. It's not his fault, but he seems oblivious to the battle. He writes prescriptions and they deny them. I fight for weeks to get them appealed. I still lose. Effing paper pushers are overriding the professional with the doctorate, and I am the grunt in the trenches. My anger knows no bounds.
