The greatest measure of an athlete comes from individual physical combat, so I vote for Olympic/freestyle wrestling.
Football/soccer is a great team game, but like all team games it doesn't necessarily reward the best athletes.
Hockey, for me, is by far the most entertaining televised team sport. But it isn't the "best".
