I JUST realized I left out Snoopy's name in my last post about his mother and father.

Yes, it was that kind of week at work, where useless information deleted words from the communication between my brain and fingers.

As an apology, here's a picture of Snoopy and his siblings at the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm - Spike, Belle, Molly, Andy, Olaf, Rover, and Marbles.

Snoopy was adopted first, and when Lila had to bring him back, his brothers and sisters had already been adopted in the interim.

I've always considered myself something of a Peanuts aficionado, but only in recent years did I learn that his mother and father are Missy and Baxter, respectively. His mother was once part of a theater group, and his father is an avid fisherman and canasta player.

Happy 7th birthday, little buddy.

If this were truly a just world, departing CEO's of scammy companies would get an actual golden parachute instead of money they didn't earn, and instead of being led out the front door would need to utilize their parting gift from the top floor of the office building.

I get way too excited when the avocados I bought last week finally start to ripen and get squishy.

Wife and I watched "Wonka" over the weekend. My favorite nod to the original 1971 classic is the potential answer to the origin of the coin Charlie found in the storm drain that allowed him to buy the bar of chocolate that won him the Golden Ticket.
