@MikeBarbre Republicans also fought changes to improve safety for transportation of hazardous material. They fought it so staunchly that the only thing that really ended up being considered highly hazardous was crude oil. Stuff like vinyl chloride got to stay in a lower designation that's allowed them to move it with less regulations.
