I got my 2nd booster a couple weeks ago. Went to the dr for wellness check and got a pneumonia shot bc I’m 65 (thanks for rubbing it in, doc), and have to go get the new shingles vax in 2 weeks even tho I got the old one 3 years ago. But wait! There’s more! I need mammogram and bone density scans but I can wait 10 years for colonoscopy bc I’m 65 (thanks again for rubbing my age in again, doc)! FML. Hahahhahahahahahhaha

Rs want armed teachers in schools. I’m def not a lawyer, but would those teachers get qualified immunity if they do something wrong while trying to protect students? I know teachers don’t want to be armed. I’m just asking 🤷🏻‍♀️

Every Memorial Day I post pix of my dad who served in the Korean War. He was shot 5 times and had to pretend to play dead as the enemy ransacked and shot the bodies. He was the first boy to return home from Brooklyn. I miss you, Dad.

10 years ago I found this baby owl near my car. He had blood on his neck either from an attack or falling out of his nest. I spent about an hour picking him up with a towel and putting him in a shoebox while calling police to come and take him somewhere to be helped. They came and said we’ll take him to a wildlife care facility. I still wonder how he fared all these years later.
