CoSo,
As we watch the US get broken up and sold for parts--a victim of greed and ignorance--the rarity and value of this platform grows.
For seven years, @th3j35t3r has prioritized our safety and experience. He has never sold us out or worked an angle to profit from us.
He has given us the means to connect organically and without manipulation.
Now, more than ever, we need this place.
Let's get to 100% community funded this month.
Help, if you can
On our first cold morning at the #MarshallFoundationLibrary, my favorite #MarshallWisdom temper moment:
"Get these blankets and stoves and every other damn thing that's needed out tonight, not tomorrow morning, and not two weeks from now.
I don't care what regulations are upset or anything of that character. We are going to take care of the troops first, last, and all the time."
On discovering that soldiers were enduring winter training without blankets, which had been ordered but not delivered.
@Museek Laughing in Joint Chiefs of Staff.
But then I heard Kamala Harr isโ plea in her concession speech at Howard University. โThe important thing is don't ever give up,โ she told her supporters. โDon't ever stop trying to make the world a better place. โฆ This is not a time to throw up our hands. This is a time to roll up our sleeves.โ

Folks may perceive I am dismissing the heartbreak of the election outcome too readily.
I am not. I am deeply upset by events, the betrayal of the news media, the sale of our nation to a few billionaires. Iโm angry that countless people will suffer more losses of freedom and safety. Iโm scared.
So I am in a โboth/andโ mindset. This is horrible AND I am living the best I can right now. People I love are fading. I donโt want to miss today. I choose to live and love. No surrender.

Veterans Day for remembrance
I'm pondering a very important question, which all veterans should consider.
Was my oath to support & defend the Constitution merely part of an employment contract that expired when my active duty ended? Or is it more than that? Is my oath "null and void" simply because I'm no longer getting paid for active service? An oath is a solemn thing, not to be taken lightly.
The Constitution, and the rights it imparts to us as citizens, are in grave peril. I'm not being hyperbolic. The danger is real.
