I am making two traditional spring candy replicas in crochet.
First is done - a "Peep" bunny.
Second in process - a chocolate bunny.
Personally, I think Peep chicks would be more traditional, but I tried one and it looked like a misshapen pile of poo, so I went ahead with the bunny. It's about a foot tall and made with "Hygge" oversized yarn.
I predict WV is going to have a sudden shortage of teachers and librarians.

I see Lucy the Lab gnawing on something in the yard as I get home from work. Since I have dealt with all sorts of deer parts the last few weeks, I tell my hubby, "Your dog is chewing on something."

Today's #BigBand #Standard which should get us flying is Charlie Barnet's "Skyliner," from 1955. I don't know if it's connected to the Martin 4-0-4 Skyliner, which flew from 1950-1961 (mostly by Eastern and TWA, how many of us recall those airlines?).

It was certainly a treat this past weekend to have Will Roberts, who portrayed Gen. George Marshall in Oppenheimer, visit the #MarshallFoundationLibrary. We poured over Marshall papers & Leslie Grove's Trinity scrapbook, & enjoyed a special showing of of the movie.
