The challenge is to choose 20 albums that greatly influenced my taste in music. One album per day, for 20 consecutive days. No explanations, no reviews, just covers. (Unless you ask...)
Day 10

Good Wednesday morning!
It's in the mid-30s F but sunny skies will warm us up to 70 F today.
My mom calls this pneumonia weather as a significant jacket is needed in the morning but will be forgotten at school that afternoon.
That's the weather from the ancient VA Blue Ridge.
Be kind today, and send good thoughts to @5ugarcane, who is having, and recovering from, surgery.

Good morning @LlamaMountainStudioArts! Halfway through another week and another gorgeous day on tap here.

Good morning, @Mandypar! Is it still morning for you?
Is it springing where you live?

Today's song is the Andrews Sisters with "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." This edition is from the movie "Buck Privates," 1941, featuring Abbott and Costello.
Enjoy! And FTR, I'm not keeping track of what I share; it's whatever sounds good that day. If there are repeats, enjoy still.

@5ugarcane
I hope all goes as well as can be, and that you have good news. I am among many who are sending prayers, energy, positive thoughts; you are not alone.

Day 9

Good morning @Madken65; I reckon you are already on the golf course today? It's certainly a perfect one today.

Good morning, @Mandypar
It's a sunny morning turning into a warm day.
Hope your photo brouhaha lessens today, and focus is on more important things.

Good morning! @LlamaMountainStudioArts
Going to be a beautiful day -- warm and sunny! Hope you get to enjoy it.

Good late morning, @Minholkin
Hope it's a good one for you. Going to be beautiful here today -- sunny and warm.

Good morning!
A chilly 33 F start; warming up to nearly 70 F this afternoon, and brilliantly sunny.
Get outside and enjoy some of the nice weather.
Be kind today.
Your weather from the ancient VA Blue Ridge.

Gen. George Marshall loved gardening. He grew beautiful flowers; his pride was his vegetable garden.
In 1949, Marshall was out of town, & sent his seed list to his secretary Sally Chamberlain, asking for her help in making the order.
Chamberlain replied, β€œEnclosed is a copy of the seed order which was sent to the Burpee Company with a check for $13.” Marshall ordered the β€œBig Boy” tomato seeds in this their first year; the hybrid is still available.

Today's is Tony Bennett's version of "East of the sun and west of the moon."
Enjoy.

Day 8 (missed some days)

Congratulations to multi-Oscar Oppenheimer!
Nearly 2 years ago, an actor called that he was portraying Gen. George Marshall in a film but couldn't say as he signed an NDA, only that it would be a blockbuster.
Challenge accepted.
I'm a librarian, so it only took one search to discover the upcoming Oppenheimer. I enjoyed working with Will Roberts as he learned about & became a fan of George Marshall; I think his portrayal is spot-on.
