That is very true. I think in the Pacific, America did win that part of WWII. Europe though? America helped. England held the Nazis off long enough that America eventually entered. But it was Russia that pushed the Nazis all the back to Hitlers bunker.

So what I haved learned here and then researching, states cannot legally secede👍 I can't help wondering though, if more states did what Texas is doing, would it send a message to our dysfunctional government that Americans are getting fed up with how the Federal government cannot get anything accomplished due to the constant bickering between Democrats and Republicans. Or would the politicians not give a shit what we thought or how we felt🤔🤷‍♀️

I actually live in a colder climate. Just south of BC Canada. I was lucky when I built my house. It was before someone figured out homes here could easily sell for 6 or 7
times more than they were. Now? The American Dream is just that for many, not just here, but most everywhere where there is high paying Tech jobs and manufacturing jobs such as Boeing. And Education does not matter at times. Homes here are just crazy expensive.

I sort of agree with that. The issue I have with pure capitalism is the costs or certain things. Housing for one. There are so many working class families now that cannot afford to buy their own home. I am not sure where you are but here, a $500,000 home is considered a starter home. How many can afford the high rents and save for an even 10% down payment. Especially when you consider how much basic necessities cost. Not including utilities, car payments, etc.....its nuts.
