@XanHart
Just breathe.

Make sure you pay your bills, and save some. Then like @Madken65 said.

Baseball, prostitutes, and beer. 😉😂🤣

Instead, keep the money in AMERICA by:
(1) Spending it at a yard sale or thrift shop, or
(2) Going to a ballgame, or
(3) Spending it on prostitutes, or
(4) Beer, or
(5) Tattoos
(The above are the ONLY American businesses still operating here.)

CONCLUSION: Go to a ballgame with a tattooed prostitute that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day.
No need to thank me, I’m just happy I could be of help.

Moving on, below you'll find some useful advise on how to best help the U. S. Economy with your stimulus check. Use it wisely:
* if you spend the stimulus money at Walmart the money will go to China or Sri Lanka.
* if you spend it on gasoline, it money will go to the Arabs.
* if you purchase a computer, it goes to India, Taiwan or China.
* if you purchase fruits and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.o and they will hide it offshore.

Enhanced unemployment benefits and aid to small businesses do get at the heart of the current problem. So that’s what serious economists are recommending, and Democrats in Congress have mostly come around to the same view.

Making your policy recommendations contingent on what’s actually happening in the world may not sound like a terribly hard test of intellectual integrity. But given the political world we live in, I’m impressed and gratified to see so many economists rising to the challenge.

But focus on what the reality on the ground tells you is necessary.

But hard thinking about the nature of the current crisis says that infrastructure spending, however desirable it may be, doesn’t address the immediate issues.

A Bun Man adventure from 5 years ago...

2000 - U.S. President Clinton signed the Senior Citizens Freedom to Work Act of 2000. The bill reversed a Depression-era law and allows senior citizens to earn money without losing Social Security retirement benefits. Bun Man just said "huh...Apparently there was a time in America when Seniors and the less fortunate were able to actually benefit from something done by the US govt."

Unless the United States exerts leadership to prevent Covid-19 from raging out of control abroad, the crisis will not end at home.

Samantha Power in NYT on the World looking to US for Leadership...

It may well be that Mr. Trump’s inability to recognize the extent to which U.S. security is tied to that of others makes him incapable of reversing course and building a global coalition. But given the pressure he feels to restart the economy and normal life, this should be the wake-up call he needs that walls won’t protect us.

On Fox News 'America Together' initiative...

Now add in Fox News’s treatment of Muslims, its offensive depiction of Asians, its forays into anti-Semitism, its stereotyping of African Americans. How sweet that the network wants everyone to join hands.

But the network’s attack machine roars when the big audiences tune in: Monday through Friday during prime time. Maybe that’s why the message of unity had to come on a Sunday night.

We’re suffering under a jumble of half measures that are likely to drag on for months and that fail to solve the problem.

Four key measures, on top of treating the ill and maintaining physical distancing, must be in place not just to slow the rise of Covid-19 cases, but also to bend the curve downward. These are: test widely, isolate the infected, trace the contacts of those infected and quarantine appropriately.
