ON this date in 1787 - The first of the Federalist Papers were published in the New York Independent.

The series of 85 essays, written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay, were published under the pen name "Publius."

Fellow revolutionaries Bun Man and Mr. Purple (what else could they be?) were Virginians and while supporting the cause for a strong central government which was more than a confederation; they couldn't grow a fondness for that pompous Federalist Hamilton.

Bun replies "I gotta tell ya, I'm hopin' TRUMMMMPTV is the dude's 8th adventure and not the presidency, I can vote with the remote much easier than dealing with 4 years of that bigotry and misogyny in the Big House..."

Mr. P and I nodded in agreement.

THE BOYZ AND I LOST THIS ARGUMENT

ON this date in 1858 - Roland Macy opened Macy's Department Store in New York City.

It was Macy's eighth business adventure, the other seven failed.

Bun Man just snickered.

Not wanting to, but knowing I have to cause he's Bun, I ask why the snicker?

Teddy R with the COSO success formula (social media where you can get along with each other)

Historybook: Ivan the Great dies (1505); Philadelphia is founded (1682); President Teddy Roosevelt born (1858); New York City subway opens (1904); American poet and novelist Sylvia Plath born (1932).

"The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people."

- President Teddy Roosevelt

The Repubs AKA Repugnicants seem to think the USA will overlook all the shite and corruption of a Second Trump term if we just keep those transgenders out of our bathrooms.

That about it?

AND Dodgers up 2-0 over the Jankees...

Ain't the Beer Cold!!

Morning Peeps,

I DO hope you have a great Sunday.

In way of celebrating here for your Sunday, I'm gonna put some golf into my Sunday.

What can I say? I'm a Helper.

And...In case you were wondering also...

Just so you know, I'd fly to the moon for a Lorna Doone!!

But it's alright now,

I learned my lesson well,

You see you can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself.

WHO'S CLAMORING?

ON this date in 1970 - "Doonesbury," the comic strip by Gary Trudeau, premiered in 28 newspapers across the U.S...

While some having always suspected Bun Man was the man, the myth, the legend behind the Duke, there is no truth to that rumor.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple live in parallel universes and would never allow themselves to be seen in a news daily...

That is unless their adoring public clamored for it!!

CLAMOR ON

ON this date in 1962 - The Soviet Union made an offer to end the Cuban Missile Crisis by taking their missile bases out of Cuba if the U.S. agreed to not invade Cuba and would remove Jupiter missiles in Turkey.

At the time, Bun Man said to Mr Purple, "Apparently, you can bring countries to their knees w/ blockades and embargoes."

This would be short-lived as the USA loves HAWKS who love to see others fight their skirmishes for them.

ON this date in 1978 - The Police played their first U.S. show in Boston at the Rat Club.

Rat Club owners Bun Man and Mr. Purple booked the Police for the show after failing to get 'proper treatment' from Bean-Town's Finest for their other shows.

The stunt worked and thereafter MOFO Boston police helped the Boyz out for crowd control at the club.

Good thing, B-52s were comin' to the club a short time later and the crowd always loved the rock anthem, Rock Lobster.

ON this date in 1971 - Al Green's "Tired of Being Alone," his first hit, went gold. Bun Man's girlfriend at the time loved Al Green and his sexy, silky voice.

While initially very jealous, Bun decided to take his lady to see Al, all the while fearing he would lose her more.

The concert night came and out came Al, and boy did he come out. Seems Mr. Green was a little lite in the slippers w/ his mannerisms and well, Bun just sat back and smiled. Another potential suitor crossed off the list...

STRETCHING

Ken-Dogger: Hey Cleo
Cleo: Morning Bro
KD: You’re all laid out.
C: I am, doing my stretches…
helps me get ready for the day.
KD: Cool, stretching is good for the body.
C: I’m hip Bro, I stretch all the time…It protects me and it helps me grow.
KD: I know, when I stretch myself I find new ways of doing, new ways of knowing, and new ways to keep my health.
C: Now you see why I stretch?
KD: Yep, stretching…good for the body, mind, and soul.
C: Dude, pass it on.

PLANNING GUIDANCE

Ken-Dogger: Hey Bruno, what up?
Bruno: Dude, looking for that movie with Jack.
KD: Which one?
B: The one where he’s a Marine Colonel and orders the Code Red
KD: Okay, and why?
B: Well, remember when he says “You’re damn right I did”
KD: Yes, Ol’ Jack thought he had moral authority over regulations.
B: Well, you might want to remind those peeps who held planning meetings for a coup.
KD: Good point, thinkin’ you’re right doesn’t make it so…
