We got here largely via a PROTEST VOTE...
US citizens had a chance to save democracy, but they chose to protest selection processes rather than save a country.
@Madken65, during the primaries in NC, my sister and I visited a Mediterranean supermarket for some spices and other items that you just can't find in the regular grocery store. Very nice people.
At the cash register, there was a little printout that requested that people vote against Biden as a protest. I wouldn't be shocked if these same people voted against their best interest during the election, either for 
, the other choices on the ballot, or left the POTUS spot blank.
@Madken65 Isn't it antithetical to claim that by practicing Democracy people doomed Democracy. Isn't Democracy all about giving power to the people, and because people made a choice that is contrary to your views, does that equate the end of Democracy?
In the current scenario, given the past history of the successful candidate, yes, indeed it does equate to the end of democracy.
But, it's just my opinion.
