ON this date in 1993 - Attorney General Janet Reno warned the TV industry to limit the violence in their programs.

Remembering this, Bun Man gave some history to Mr. Purple, "P, like most warnings, they go unheeded; voluntary actions to limit capitalism's profits never work, only money works."

Mr. Purple, ever the quick witted, replied "Yes, the people tried to warn both major parties this year about their candidates and what did that get us?"

Bun Man closed saying "Warnings never work, only enforceable regulations work..."

And that is a stretch if we're talking major businesses...
