Despite my concerted efforts at the gym, my beach body remains unchanged. Yes, I go consistently, yes, I increase the weight and/or reps and add machines to my strength training. I DO feel better, and the endorphins help a lot with pain management, and I take pride in my hard work. Today I was especially amused watching two younger ladies using much lower weights, way fewer reps, and much faster reps than I did. Sounds shallow, perhaps, but I take my validation where I can.

๐Ÿ’› If you have a body, you have a beach body.

And just look at all the amazing things your body can DO! That's freaking fantastic. You've EARNED that pride.

I have to rebuild musculature, and I know it's a frustratingly long journey for those of us who don't have as much testosterone naturally (i.e., those of us who have to keep at it all the time).

I look at your and I'm swooning. ๐Ÿ’ช

Well freaking done, beautiful, phenomenal YOU. ๐ŸŽ‰
