If I could do it all again I would've looked harder for groups genuinely committed to direct action too. Unfortunately, the filters of my professional communities only ever put me in contact with fairly centrist "progressive" actors, which left me feeling like there was nowhere to lean in to help that was actually interested in changing the system.

May you find good community in the causes you take on.

It may be that I have to create said community. Sort of a 'build it and they will come' scenario. My executive functions aren't exactly tailored for that at present, but the clock doth tick. 💜

I zeroed in on the Coyote. They're all beauties! And that custom rack is fantastic - although if your collection grows any further it might need some expansion too. 😅 Do you take the GameMaster II out often? I imagine the precision is much better for all parties involved in its use.

Not as often as I'd like. I keep sharp, but I'm not hunting anymore. I may again, one day, but from a subsistence perspective.

My previous career really tainted hunting in general for me.

I have friends in Northern Ontario for whom subsistence hunting is real and necessary. Gotta fill up that freezer to survive some of the social downturns.

I didn't take you for a "sport" hunter, at least not in the incarnation of you I've known here. But it's good to know you can take care of your community if need be. 👌🏻 Woodworking, protein acquisition, *and* motivational YouTube videos: three key skills for the coming end of times. 😅
