Good morning. I'm salty about #TheGreenBelt
Ontario’s auditor general released a report this week that found the Doug Ford’s government, in choosing portions of land to be developed, was influenced by developers who now stand to make billions, their “information gathering and decision protocols were sidelined and abandoned” and did not consider environmental, agricultural or financial impacts of the move.

I'll be chaining myself to a tree anytime. No joke.
If I could do it all again I would've looked harder for groups genuinely committed to direct action too. Unfortunately, the filters of my professional communities only ever put me in contact with fairly centrist "progressive" actors, which left me feeling like there was nowhere to lean in to help that was actually interested in changing the system.
May you find good community in the causes you take on.
@MLClark @BosmangBeratna I've often quoted a line from the Talmud here, "He who saves one life, saves the world."
Everything we do for the good matters, even if we can't see the impact, even if it wasn't as far as we wanted to go.
One little spark of good makes a difference to all who see it, and each spark runs the chance of lighting a great conflagration of change.
No matter your constraints, no matter what choices that may have metered you, every good sparks it up.
I'm sticking this particular feather in my cap for the day. I needs it.
@BosmangBeratna @MLClark You always have the power to be the change you want to see.
