If you care about human rights issues, you'll use your vote in the way least likely to make things worse. And you'll research down-ballot candidates as well, since frankly, the president has fairly limited domestic powers if the supreme court is taking people's rights and the congress won't vote to correct that.

@GreenCheese I can't speak to your life, though I'm pretty sure you're not as bad as you seem to think. I can speak to Harris's actions in her public capacity and putting kids in cages on the border isn't something I'll ever condone, and hers would be the fourth administration in a row to do just that.

She has accomplished good things too. For example, she sponsored as Senator a bill racists had been fighting for 125 years — making lynching a federal crime. It passed and Biden signed it, with Harris and Emmett Till’s family members, in 2022. I believe she has the capacity to grow, unlike Trump who wants to bring us all down.
@GreenCheese That's cool and all, but I can't vote on someone's potential for growth, I have to vote on who they've shown me they are and what they've shown me that they believe.
