@cmskiera Yeah, my surgeon wrote me a prescription for Wegovy to lose weight so I could have a lower back surgery. Prescription plan said no.
I guess I'll just have to starve myself if I ever want relief..... I'll quit whining now. 😐
@LowEndMuse @cmskiera call the insurance company and ask for an appeal of the denial. I just did that last week for Ausedo and we win the appeal.
I may need to do that. It took my prescription plan a week just to send the request to the *correct* fax number..... Incompetent, the lot of them.
@LowEndMuse So apparently I make "too much" to qualify for the ACA but too little to be able to afford private insurance especially if you factor in premiums + copays. Which is why I'm in money saving mode and literally empty my savings account everytime I need surgery. I just got the estimate for my upcoming knee surgery. I'll be starting over from zero once I pay for it.
