It really hurts to see that people with big audiences, who will get a lot of attention whatever they say, are openly targeting largely powerless minorities like transgender people, accusing them of fictional crimes, demonizing them, enacting discriminatory laws against them, and turning states into factories for hateful propaganda.

Where are we now? Is this really 2023? Or are we in the Middle Ages? Or in Germany in the '20s and '30s?

Phishing alert: I registered for the @bluesky social media app wait list last month. Yesterday, I received an email purporting to be from BlueSky, asking me to answer a few Q's to speed up the process. The form asked for some PII, some optional, some not.

When I hovered over the submit button, the form was being sent to "email dot mmtrkr dot com". BlueSky's waitlist may have been hacked.

Beware of any form asking for PII. I'm pretty experienced with this kind of stuff, and almost got snared
