The Far Side:

I just got some news (can’t reveal publicly, it’s family stuff), and I think I finally understand that passage from the bible now about the sins of the father getting passed down to the son. 😢

I’ve been watching CNN today, off and on, for the first time in YEARS. It’s improved! However, I am avoiding the evening news.

I went outside for about a minute and came in with swollen red eyes, a very runny nose, and lots of sneezing. I can’t stand allergies. Ragweed is out in the south, I think, or it’s grass pollen.

I commented on one post, “Do what you will, but make sure you’re not alone when you need someone to call 911 for you.” He didn’t want to hear from people who haven’t done it (I haven’t, but I did have a nervous break down once and stop eating and drinking anything at all for several days, which was followed by 6 days in the hospital.)

God help us, people on social media are now talking about “going on a water fast for 3-7 days.” IN THE HOTTEST SUMMER ON RECORD. Emergency rooms are about to fill up with stupid people again. 🙄

Does anyone else think Shark Week isn’t as good this year? They’re talking about a really interesting shark, but I’m not sure what it’s called and what makes it so special. “Poor Beagle” is what I’m hearing, but I know that’s not it. Also, THEY HAVE AQUAMAN AND THEY HAVEN’T PUT HIM IN THE WATER! WTH? What happened to Shark Week????
