I just got some news (can’t reveal publicly, it’s family stuff), and I think I finally understand that passage from the bible now about the sins of the father getting passed down to the son. 😢

@GreenLady08 I think it’s kind of a metaphor, and not literal. Basically, kids learn from parents, so if parents are making bad decisions and kids watch them do this, then kids will likely make similar bad decisions, and maybe in even worse ways. The alcoholic mother gives rise to the drug addict son, etc.
