I went outside for about a minute and came in with swollen red eyes, a very runny nose, and lots of sneezing. I can’t stand allergies. Ragweed is out in the south, I think, or it’s grass pollen.

I commented on one post, “Do what you will, but make sure you’re not alone when you need someone to call 911 for you.” He didn’t want to hear from people who haven’t done it (I haven’t, but I did have a nervous break down once and stop eating and drinking anything at all for several days, which was followed by 6 days in the hospital.)

God help us, people on social media are now talking about “going on a water fast for 3-7 days.” IN THE HOTTEST SUMMER ON RECORD. Emergency rooms are about to fill up with stupid people again. 🙄

@MrGoat It’s a catchy tune, but Robin Thicke is a sexual predator, and this song is about how he preys on women. So, it’s nauseating, and the catchy tune makes it worse.

@Xponent I’m pretty sure auto tune and executives who just want to push out the same stuff over and over are responsible for this. We want good music, and the industry doesn’t seem to know what that is anymore. But, I’m just a casual observer.

I think it’s time for vigilante justice with regard to this. If the justice system won’t do its job, then we should. The justice system’s job is to prevent the need for this, and they’re failing miserably. So, 🤷‍♀️ If Congress won’t pass laws, and judges won’t convict/punish, then maybe we should. I’ll probably get blocked for this, but I’m not the only one thinking it.

I’d much rather the system just do its damned job.

I think the cult has up’d their rhetoric lately. The Trump supporter I live with is getting harder to live with (don’t @ me, just send bourbon). I fear we’ll have more of this for the foreseeable future. 😖

@dr_zooks Thank you so much, that’s exactly the worst part. I thought I had a chance at a job that 1) I had applied for, 2) would finally pay me something approaching what I’m worth, and 3) change my life. It was like a big punch in the gut when I figured out what was going on.
