Maybe they should since hard right Republicans are infiltrating school boards in order to assure our children are lied to.
In Texas they want to teach that Thomas Jefferson (yes, THAT Thomas Jefferson) was no one important.
Schoolchildren need to be taught history, not Republicans rewriting of history.

@feloneouscat And nut jobs running for school boards have gotten cute about answering specific questions about their beliefs, making it harder to weed them out. Makes me furious.
