Rumor on the street is that Elon is removing the mute and block features of Twitter in 3 months.
So it will no longer be a choice as to whom you hear, and no safeguards against harassment.
Sounds like those omnipresent telescreens of 1984.

@BlueStateBabe Needless to say, if this happens Twitter will die. And I don't just mean that users will flee. I mean that the app will be removed from Apple and Google, as both require an ability to block abusive users.

By rights, yes. That’s why Coso has the silly flags we keep hitting accidentally, because one of the app stores thought the report function wasn’t obvious enough in a pull down menu.
But X is treated as too big to fail, and they’re allowed to get away with TOS violations. Bravo to Brasil for calling them on it.
