I *think* I've turned off the lane assist in my car which was making the car wrestle with me. I shall report.
@kay_dub I don't mind if it warns me. Just don't try to take over my driving.
@LiberalLibrarian @kay_dub My lane assist likes to be further to the left in the lane than I like to. It's only a few inches, but enough that I turn it off except for long, boring highway drives.
@LiberalLibrarian Don't have it on my car, but we rented one in Florida a couple years ago and it completely freaked me out. Had no clue what was going on.
@LiberalLibrarian In some cars (and mine is one of them) you have to turn off lane assist each time you start the car, which is something you might want to check with yours.
@LiberalLibrarian I hate the lane assist. Mine just vibrated if it sensed I crossed a line, and made me think I'd blown a tire. Fortunately, it has a big button on the dash to turn off.
