My friend group involves mostly science and academic types. They're either on research trips, or in their home countries for the semester break, or are in new locations for work.

I love summer.

I know where maybe two of my friends are right now. And that's just general I-know-what-country-they-are-in right now. Others are texting me from like Thailand and Sweden and Capetown.

Where is everyone? I have no clue. But we have wifi!

If you want a really good metric for just about anything, look at how the person/group/law/book handles disabilities.

If the book series has no place for people with disabilities, it's not going to be LGBTQ+ friendly.

If a law doesn't take disabilities into account, it's going to be a mess.

Basic Writing Rule:

If it's an important scene make sure you give enough details that your fans can make some good art. Step back during edits and look from a painter's perspective: could you paint this and make it accurate to the description given.
